Just recently, small batches are even certified organic according to USDA (United States Department of Agriculture) standards. The certification is issued by the respected german organic company BCS Öko Garantie.

A european organic certicication is due to the european legal situation on Stevia not possible yet.

Every step in the productions process is according to food grade and pharmaceutical grade standard Every batch is checked for Stevioside, Reb.A,C, Dulcoside content, as well as for ash, metals, etc.

Our partner lab in Germany also checks the raw ingredients regularly, it is the well-known and respected GBA (Gesellschaft für Bioanalytik).

How is the white stevia powder extract derived?

First extraction step is in a series of large open steel tanks where the leaves are stirred with warm to hot water with mixing paddles. They undertake about seven washings on a batch process. The crude liquid is then filtered before concentrating in heated vessels. Concentrate is then put through ion exchange resin extraction before final crystallization. Final product is a powder (ground crystals). The liquids can only be stored for about 35 days when shipping therefore it is not sold commercially.

About the Quality Standards:

GMP

The term GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) is used for standards designed for the quality assurance of the production processes and the production environment. GMP standards are mandatory for the production of pharmaceuticals, active ingredients and medical products.

A quality management system in accordance with GMP helps to ensure the product quality and to fulfill the mandatory requirements for commercialization of the health authorities.

Halal

In the Islamic world, the term "Halal" (Arabic for "clean, permitted") is used to describe all things and actions that are "clean“ and thus permitted and acceptable.

In a stricter sense, "Halal" refers to food, which is considered to be "clean" according to the dietary laws of the Koran and the Sunnah.

ISO 9002

Introduced in 1987 by the International Organization for Standardisation, ISO 9002 has become the world standard for quality control assurance. With independent certification of recognised standards and regular audits conducted by third-party experts, ISO 9002 helps companies in widely varied industries assure that their activities adhere to a set of enforceable management standards.

Kosher

The "Jewish dietary laws", the so-called "Kashrut", are rules for food preparation defined in the Old Testament of the Bible, the Talmud and subsequent rabbinic writings.

The products and foodstuffs, which are in accordance with these laws and thus considered to be appropriate, are referred to as "kosher“.

All products and foodstuffs produced according to Kashrut receive a Kosher certificate by a religious authority.

USDA BIO

Certification according to the National Organic Program (NOP) of the United States
The "National Organic Program" is part of the US Department of Agriculture (USDA). After a several years lasting process of consultation with all stakeholders of the organic industry this standard came into force in the year 2002.
